Debbie J. Clinton

Debbie Clinton, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, was born on September 22, 1951, in Sacramento, California, and peacefully passed away at her home in Lincoln, California, on July 20, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Peter Vasion; her mother, Dorothy M. Vasion; her sisters, Sandra Vasion Sevall and Diane Vasion Brown; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

She is survived by her devoted husband of over 50 years, Mike Clinton; her beloved sister, Danelle Vasion; her daughters, Dana Baser and Danette Clinton; her sons, Michael J. Clinton and Robert D. Clinton; her granddaughters, Whitney Tucker, Meagan Pfister, Mikel Slusarski, Khloe Angove, Cheyanne Clinton, and Sierra Clinton; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Falynn, Evie, Weston, Jayden, and Mya. Debbie was especially looking forward to welcoming two more great-grandchildren from Meagan and Mikel. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whom she loved as family.

Family was the center of Debbie's world. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with those she loved. She treasured watching her great-grandchildren ride their bikes, swim, and simply enjoy being kids. One of their favorite traditions was having tea parties together—except Grandma Debbie's "tea" was always Pepsi, a tradition that never failed to make the kids smile and create memories they will cherish forever.

She loved shopping trips with the girls, taking country drives while listening to music, having dance parties on the coffee table, lip-syncing to her favorite oldies, and laughing until everyone around her was smiling.

One of Debbie's greatest joys was climbing on the back of the Harley with her husband, Mike, and heading out for a ride together. Whether it was a quick afternoon ride through the countryside or a day spent exploring the open road, those rides were some of her happiest moments and reflected the adventurous spirit and deep love they shared throughout their more than 50 years of marriage.

Debbie was equally proud of her career. She began working for Hewlett-Packard in 1991, where she quickly became known for her remarkable work ethic, dedication, and commitment. During company restructuring, she was one of the few employees retained because of her outstanding performance and loyalty. She was honored with an award recognizing her ability to complete the workload of three people—a testament to her determination and exceptional work ethic.

A proud graduate of Lincoln High School's Class of 1969, Debbie later attended college to study business. Throughout her life, she carried herself with strength, integrity, and compassion. She loved deeply, welcomed others into her family as though they were her own, and was fiercely loyal and protective of the people she cared about. She never hesitated to stand up for those she loved, and her home was always a place where family and friends felt welcomed.

To know Debbie was to know unconditional love. She was the heart of her family—the one everyone could count on. Her warmth, generosity, quick wit, and infectious laughter touched countless lives and left an unforgettable mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing Debbie's love lives on in every oldies song, every Harley ride, every Pepsi tea party, and every laugh shared by the family she treasured. Her legacy lives on through the love she gave so freely, the traditions she created, and the countless memories she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
