Gerald was born on April 17, 1940 in Churbusco, NY at the family farm house. He served in the US Army prior to his construction years. Gerald was a dam builder who worked his way west to California building dams: Glen Canyon, Bullards Bar, Oroville & Englebright Dam.
Gerald’s hobbies were: fishing with his family on the California Delta, playing cards, cribbage, dominos, hunting and spending time with family as family was everything to him. Gerald enjoyed woodworking on his 10 acres that he moved to in 1976 where he raised his 3 children. Gerald was also a member of Knights of Columbus.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife Linda Carrol Poupore his wife of 53 years. Linda passed away Jan.
3, 2020, Gerald and Linda’s son Todd who passed at the age of 3 months, parents Eli & Eileen Poupore, siblings
Lee Gordon and Ernie (Anne) and brother-in-law Glen Cowan.
Survived by his daughters Lisa Gonzalez (Dan), Rita Gonzalez (Adrian) and son Joseph Poupore (Lissa), nine grandchildren & five great grandchildren, three siblings: Ross Poupore (Carol), Marie Cowan, & Billy Poupore (Cathy).
He was so loved and cherished and will be dearly missed. He had such a great sense of humor and always made everyone laugh.
