James was a master crafter, building 7 houses in his life. He could design, draw, plan, and build almost anything.
He became a pilot in 1985, manning his Beechcraft Bonanza using the call number "8-Niner-34-Alpha".
James is survived by his wife, Lila Andrew, married in July 1977.
A graveside service for James will be held Friday, June 30, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Newcastle Cemetery, 850 Taylor Rd, Newcastle, CA 95658.
