Judith, affectionately known as Jude/Judy, was deeply in love with her husband of nearly 60 years, Robert L. Belville. Their enduring bond was a testament to their commitment, as they were set to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary this coming July 18, 2024.
Born in Fairmont, West Virginia, Judy's family moved to Wayne, Michigan, when she was a small child. It was in Wayne where she spent her formative years and graduated from Wayne Memorial High School. At the tender age of 15, Judy met the love of her life, Robert. Their romance blossomed, leading to their marriage in 1964. Together, they were blessed with two daughters, Sherri and Terri.
Judy was a dedicated wife and mother, deeply involved in her daughters' lives. She served as the president of the PTA and led various clubs and programs, always striving to enrich the lives of those around her. While initially a homemaker, Judy reentered the workforce in the early 1980s, serving as an office manager for a Tae Kwon Do business. Later, she transitioned to a career in finance, showcasing her versatility and dedication.
In 2003, Judy and Robert embarked on a new chapter of their lives, relocating to the West Coast and settling in Lincoln, California, where they built a loving home together. There, Judy embarked on a new venture, running a family-owned smoothie business. Her warm smile, infectious laugh, and genuine care endeared her to all who knew her. She cherished moments spent with her family, whether it was leisurely drives with Robert or spending quality time with her grandchildren. Judy also enjoyed traveling to Florida and back to her hometowns in Michigan and West Virginia.
In her final years, Judy found solace in watching "Family Feud," surrounded by the love of her family. She adored her six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, earning the title of the best Grammy ever. Judy leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert; her loving daughters, Sherri L. Goode and Terri L. Robertson; her sons-in-law, Jim Goode and Matt Robertson; and her grandchildren, Connor, Cole, Sydney (fiancé Logan Keate), Mattison, Lexi, and Landry, along with her great-granddaughter, Porter Rae. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Marjorie Albert, her brother Gary Albert and sister Bonnie Woods.
Judy will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched with her warmth and love.
