Kathryn "Kate" Edmunds

Kathryn “Kate” Edmunds was born in Michigan and grew up in Scotland, Pennsylvania. She was a long time resident of Redondo Beach before moving to Newcastle, California in 2017. She is survived by her husband Dean Andrews of Newcastle, CA; brothers Rudy Boyance of Pennsylvania, Tony Boyance of Texas; sisters Margaret of Pennsylvania, Michele of Santa Margarita, Jeanine of North Carolina and Nanette of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her sister Cindy Maybee of Virginia. Kate was a loving Mother survived by daughters Kristi Slaughter of New Jersey and Elizabeth Edmunds of Redondo Beach; Granddaughters Nina Martin of Virginia, Kelly Soto of South Carolina and Isabella Edmunds of Redondo Beach; Great Grandchildren Faye Martin of Virginia and Braxton Soto of South Carolina.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11 AM at the First United Methodist Church located at 243 S Broadway in Redondo Beach, CA. Flowers brought to the service will be placed on the alter with Kate. Kate’s memorial page can be found at www.dignitymemorial.com.
