Aunt Erma and Uncle Manuel at our wedding. So blessed to have had him and Aunt Erma in my life.

My Uncle Manuel,
Intuitive, wise, kind, firm, hilarious and deeply attentive. He showed us all that a man can be all these things with grace. In his presence I felt safe and whole. My fears alleviated, my suspicions explored and laughed about, the unspeakable silently shared in his warm eyes and hands.
I took a coaching retreat with a very accomplished coach. He said something that I will never forget. It reminded me of my dear Uncle Manuel."I am a good natured man, don't mess with my good nature." Manuel lived "forgive and remember." It is the loving thing to do. He was no fool and when he loved it lit the room. I will never forget his light touch and firm love.
