Richard Phillip Newman

Born on November 12, 1934, in Yakima, Washington, Dick lived a long and full life marked by dedication to his craft, a love of the outdoors, and a personality that left a lasting impression on those around him.

Dick proudly served as a Naval reservist, demonstrating his commitment to service early in life. Following his time in the reserves, he found his calling as a barber—a profession he embraced for 45 years. As the owner of "Dick's Barber Shop," he became a familiar and trusted figure in his community. His shop was more than just a place for haircuts; it was a gathering spot where stories were shared and friendships were formed.

Outside of work, Dick found joy in simple pleasures. He loved playing table games and spending time outdoors camping and fishing. Nature brought him peace and adventure, and he relished every opportunity to enjoy wildlife.
