

Born February 24, 1943 in the city of Venecia, Durango Mexico. Peacefully passed on October 24, 2021 with his family by his side, at the age of 78. Roberto was the oldest son of 13 brothers and sisters. His death is proceeded by his parents Magdeleno and Marcelina S. Nevarez, his brothers Fidel and Abdon, and his sisters Flora and Paula. Survived by: brothers Marcos, Miguel, Jesus, and Lorenzo; sisters Augustina, Aurora, Juana, and Zemida; son Robert Nevarez Jr. and wife Orylia; daughter Rosie Marchman and husband Pete; grandchildren Robert Nevarez III, Alexis, and Marissa Marchman; and many more cousins, nieces, and nephews. And don't forget his grand-dogs, Silva, Shady, Sophie, Buster, and Bella who will miss their bags of treats.
Roberto made the trip from Mexico to the small town of Lincoln, CA in 1968 to meet up with his Tío Jesus and Tía Otila Nevarez, where he lived the next 53 years of his life.
Roberto retired from the San Juan Water District in Folsom, CA after 20 years of service in 2005. He loved gardening, trimming his nopales, barbecuing, listening to Mariachis, spending time with his family and friends, and attending social events around the town of Lincoln. He enjoyed having his cervezas, cheering for his Dodgers, and making his buddies laugh.
Roberto will always be loved and missed by many.
