Rodney was born on May 31, 1971, in San Jose, California. He was a hardworking and dedicated ironworker who took great pride in his craft and the life he built through determination and perseverance. More than anything, Rodney will be remembered for his kind heart, adventurous spirit, and unwavering love for those closest to him.
Rodney found his greatest joy in the outdoors. Whether he was fishing, riding side-by-sides, snowmobiling, or simply spending time in nature, he embraced every adventure with enthusiasm and a smile. His sense of humor, generous heart, and willingness to help others made him someone people naturally gravitated toward. He had a way of making those around him laugh and feel welcome, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Rodney is lovingly survived by his daughter, Samantha Nunes; his sons, Anthony and Marcos Luevano; his partner, Erin Block; his mother, Sheila Nunes; his brother, Heath Nunes; sister-in-law, Jennifer Nunes; Nieces, Brooklynn and Bailee Nunes; Daughter-In-Law, Corina Luevano and Katie Work; Son-In-Law, Zane Morgan and Granddaughters, Trinity and Ariya Luevano. He also leaves behind many extended family members and cherished friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
Although Rodney’s time with us was far too short, the love he shared, the memories he created, and the legacy of kindness and strength he leaves behind will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered every day.
“Those we love don’t go away; they always walk beside us every day.”
