Me and Grant Kirkman had a ball with You when We lived below Shaver Lake . You had a drivers license and We were to young to have  one , so after working in the woods You would drive Us to Shaver to go swimming ...Never forget those great times ...

I have fond memories of us working at the sawmill together.
The 3 of us were canoeing together out in the swamps.
Remembering all the times we went to Mud Springs.
I am saddened by Rogers' passing and I wish I could have seen him one more time.

I've always loved my Uncle Roger so much! I would be so excited every time he came to visit and very sad and upset if I had missed him on a visit. He was hilarious.  I once gave him "trick gum" that turned his teeth blue lol. I told him it was delicious gum and he just had to try it! He was chopping on it and kept saying I don't like it Justee. I was laughing so hard as his teeth turned blue lol. I think Papa has pictures of it somewhere. Most of my memories are from the Bluegrass festivals. He and Papa were two peas in a pod. O they made me laugh so much! I remember how much he loved Wendy and Megan and how sweet and good he was to them. I miss him and I pray for everyone during this time.
