Rosemary Ann Stevens

Rosemary is preceded in death by her husband James William Stevens who passed on June 17, 2021. They were married 40 years+. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Ann Avery, her son, John Morrison, her granddaughter Sarah Joslyn of Hopewell Virginia and grandson Adam Morrison of San Diego California. She has one great grandchild Reagan Joslyn. In addition, she has relatives living in Washington, and Janice Stegner her niece and her great niece Joelle Stegner, and great nephew Jack Stegner in California.

Jim and Rosemary lived on a ranch in Lincoln and raised cattle. Jim helped cows have healthy, happy calves through artificial insemination. Rosemary and Jim both enjoyed the closeness of their families. Jim has three children, Sharyl, Kathleen, and Jimmy.

Rosemary received her Master’s Degree and Teaching credential in Education and taught History and English for 40 years at Albert Einstein Jr. High School in Sacramento before retiring. Her son John followed in her footsteps and became an Elementary School teacher. Theresa went into Human Resources for 40 years.

A graveside service will be held on January 31, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Manzanita Cemetery, located on Manzanita Road in Lincoln, CA 95648.

Afterwards, there will be a reception at Rosemary and Jim’s home at 256 Merritt Lane, Lincoln, Ca 95648.
