He was born on February 20, 1970 in Fontana, California. He leaves behind his daughter and two sons, his grandson, 6 siblings, and his mother.
Tim was a boisterous presence most of his life, often saying his voice was just one that carried well, not that he was loud. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed a lifetime of mountain biking, hiking, camping, and traveling. While socializing was not as easy for him in the last few years, he always loved his family and spending time with them. He would go to any lengths to be close to those he cared about.
Tim was proud of his education in physics at the University of Utah, and his long career as a software engineer that took him from Utah to Oklahoma, to Michigan, and to Maryland on occasion. He had a love for technology, playing videogames, playing soccer, making things, seeing live music, and most especially reading. He was an avid practitioner of the notion that if you have the right tools you can do just about anything yourself.
A memorial service will be held July 2, 2026. Zoom link is available by request.
