Allan H. LeGrande, age 90, passed away on January 27, 2025. He was born on June 1, 1934 in Joliet, Illinois to Aubrey and Fae LeGrande. Allan grew up in Champaign, Illinois before moving to Lincoln in 1955, soon after marrying his wife, Ruth.
Allan is survived by his wife, Ruth; son, Michael (Janice) LeGrande of Marion, Iowa; daughter, Laura LeGrande of Lincoln; grandson, Ryan (Dani) LeGrande of Omaha; granddaughter, Michelle (Patrick) Rhatigan of Cedar Rapids; great-grandchildren, Cora LeGrande, Rory and Rowan Rhatigan; brother, Harold LeGrande of Champaign, Illinois; nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Norman LeGrande, Aubrey LeGrande Jr.; mother-in-law, Virginia Armstrong; brother-in-law, Gene Armstrong.
Allan was a long-time employee of Hendricks Sodding and Landscaping/LeGrande Excavating prior to retiring several years ago. He was a member of First Baptist Church for over 60 years.
Services will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68512.
