Allen Frederick Ziems, age 82, of Lincoln, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Allen was born October 4, 1941 to Oscar and Ella Nass Ziems. Allen worked most of his life at Lincoln Office Equipment as warehouse clerk and delivery driver. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, playing pool, bowling, taking care of his yard and especially his family. Allen is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Elaine Ziems; children, Kim Olson, Troy Ziems; brother, Ken Ziems; sister, Ardyce Mittan; grandchildren, Joshua Olson, Jessica Olson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation for Allen will be held Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S 14th St., Lincoln, Nebraska 68512. A celebration of life will be 10:30 am Friday, October 27, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 724 S 12th St, Lincoln, NE.
