Alta M. Mohatt age 94 of Lincoln passed away on November 1, 2017 at Havelock Manor. She was born on August 1, 1923 in rural Custer County Nebraska near Lillian to Clemens and Ruth (Wakefield) Bates. Alta married Carl J. Mohatt on September 26, 1947. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her volunteer work at the Salvation Army. Alta is survived by her sons, Larry Mohatt of Lincoln; Jerry (Gayle) Mohatt of Indian Hills, CO; David and Linda Mohatt of Lincoln; grandchildren; Rachel and Andy Hinton; Matthew Mohatt; Ashley Mohatt; Tim Mohatt, Ryan and Megan Mohatt; Lisa and Mark Neiswanger; Paul Mohatt and Angela Wurm; Jessica Mohatt and husband Matt Hibbing; Kimberly and Greg Sukup; 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carl, brother, Lyle Bates and a brother in infancy. Visitation: Monday, November 6, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service: Monday, November 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.
