Angela had a heart of gold and we will treasure the memories of  her warmth and kindness.  She and our daughter Ingrid were high school friends.   After Ingrid died in 2000,  Angela made sure she frequently checked in to see how we were  doing. ♥  The memories and words I have offer, could never fully express THE SPECIALNESS of ♥ Ang ♥  From Day One: Angela, always had her heart, mind, and door open, and all our mutual friends at East, can attest to Ang’s open arms of love, compassion, adventuresome spirit, fun, and unabashed fearlessness —a-l-l, an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind experience, with Ang.  From Singers, to Soft Ball, to the origination of East’s first Ski Club, and beyond, Ang, was always first in line to be a part of THE experience —always, having made a grand entrance, especially, at the wheel, and stepping out of her bright red minted-vintage Maverick (aka: ‘The Mav’)!  Our shared East High School Days – Summertime Recess —especially, with made-to-order, ‘Parties on The Peninsula’ at Branched Oak — Winter and Spring Break experiences, together, and with all our mutual friends —included a certain, thrill and time travel into fun-dom … with Ang!!  During and after college, we intertwined our college life, together, as forever bonded ‘Lincoln Girls’, and as we forged ahead, officially toward adulthood, into different directions, geographically (for me, in California), no matter the time or distance, we always reconnected in Lincoln, as our Touchstone —always, picking up, where we left off, always saying “… isn’t it, just like yesterday, that we … and then, we filled in the blanks … with generous, extraordinarily, positive and impactful, memorable time, together.  I will forever cherish, the treasured time I had with Ang —always, giving of herself, with her fullness of spirit, without hesitation, in every way..  This ♥ Angel ♥ Among Us ♥ Our Ang ♥ will always be with me, with us, her family, and her friends like family, for eternity, and … for this, I — We, are and will forever be blessed. ♥

Karen - Words cannot begin, nor would they ever come close...  Though we hadn't spoken often since going separate ways after high school, Angie appeared in my thoughts periodically,  and certainly played a large role in my formative years.  As did Larry, beyond what either of them ever knew, I am certain.  I wasn't there for Angie during her toughest times.  Moving away and living out of state prevented us spending time together, but this should not have prevented me from keeping in better touch.  I deeply regret not being in better contact with Angie, and with your family in general; more so now than ever.  I can't rectify that, but I can share some fond memories because, well, that's all I have now.  

I remember youth group choir rehearsals on Wednesday nights, youth group events / parties, riding the bus to Culler and looking for and finding Angie every Sunday morning at church.  And, of course, I will never forget that she (and you) were the first people that I ran to when my own father passed.  I remember that day vividly, riding my bike fervently to your house, sitting in your living room, with you and Angie perched on the floor in front of me, consoling me.  I was grateful for you then, and I am grateful for you all now.   

I only learned of Angie's passing yesterday (Sunday).  I wish that I had heard sooner, so that I may have attended the celebration of life ceremony honoring her.  My heart goes out to you and to Jett.  I wish I had words to share that could truly make you feel better in this time of grief, but I have learned that, as well intended as they are, words always fall short in the face of grief.  So, instead, I will give my words to God, asking Him to send you all of the peace and comfort that you need during this time.  His love never fails but, of course, you already know that.

I am so shocked and saddened to learn of Angela’s passing. I have known Angela (Angie) since our days at Meadow Lane. We were classmates through junior high (Culler) and at Lincoln East. While our paths post high school went in different directions, we reconnected on Facebook and I had the pleasure of witnessing the love, generosity and kind spirit she had from the first time we met. My heart breaks for her beloved son, Jett, her mother and all of the many friends and family who had the opportunity to meet this true angel on earth. May God Bless heaven’s angel and all those left behind to mourn the passing of such a wonderful spirit. 

Oh Jett I am so sorry!! All our thoughts and prayers!!Your mom was a great friend and co-worker. I was so blessed to have her as a friend. She had a heart of gold. You were the sparkle in her eye! 

Oh Jett, I am so very sorry. Your mom had a heart of gold, and I am so blessed to have worked with her, got to see you through her eyes and to have called her "friend". You were her sparkle! 

I am sadden by the loss of Angela.  She was my friend.  She was a devoted Mother to Jett.  The last time I saw her was at her Dad's funeral.  Prayers to Jett and the rest of the family.  

Angela went above and beyond loving our children as much as we do. I cannot imagine a world without her caring heart in it. You are missed my dear. 

Blessings to Karen and to Jett… And to all that knew and shared memories of Angela “Angie”.  Angie has always had a special place in my heart.  Growing up together, both as an only child, we connected in so many ways.  We always ended our conversations and text messages with “Love you Sissy♥️“.
