Asa was a Great man. He was a Very hard worker who valued his employees. He worked Hard to do great things for his Lincoln Lowes. He gave praise and support and allowed for positive growth within his employees. He was an incredible husband; he loved his wife Renee so much. He was an awesome father to his sons. I almost said boys; I say this because they are not boys, Max and Anton are fine, strong and loving men.  He loved Joe and he was proud of Anton. He was a great Brother and Uncle. Asa was all of these things. But to Breanna, Zach, myself and so much more importantly to Aaron he was and still is our friend. Love and miss you Asa.

I met Asa in 1989 when I started at Payless Cashways in Lincoln, NE.  Asa had a way of just making anyone a friend.  He would then invite that friend over to his house and just get weirder and weirder.  If you stayed, you became a friend for life.  After a few years, you were family.  My own family is wonderful and I love my folks and siblings, but even so I have been so blessed to be part of my second family.  Thank you, Asa, for bringing me in.

I'm deeply saddened to learn of Asa passing. He was an incredible leader and the best thing to happen to 2739. I'm so thankful to have called him my boss and my friend. Asa made a huge impact on me and many and will be greatly missed. 

I had the pleasure of working with Asa at Payless Cashways.  He was as great man.  Always a kind word for those around him and always a smile on his face.  My condolences to his family. Proud to have known and worked with him.

I am saddened of the loss of a great man and leader at Lowe's.  He made everyone feel comfortable and valued as an employee!  We all will miss you.  Asa's family is in my prayers.

I was saddened and shocked to hear of Asa's passing. He was a good friend and a better person. I first met Asa while working at Payless Cashways and we stayed friends through the 84 Lumber days and his time at Lowes. He was the kind of person that got it. I will miss him.  
Our thoughts and prayers are with Renee' and the rest of his family.

I had the opportunity to work with Asa when I was an Area Operations Manager he was a great person who always saw the good in everyone.

I've worked summers at Lowes in the Garden Center for the past five years and Asa always made me feel valued as an employee, and more importantly, as a person. You will be missed, sir!

I started working for Asa at Lowe's in February. He is by far the best boss I've ever had. Always cared about his employees and always made time to stop and see how all of us were doing. My heart aches for his family. Thoughts and prayers to them!

We are so sorry to hear of Asa's passing. My husband Dale and I met Asa when the two of them worked at Payless Cashways back in the early eighties. Dale was thrilled when Asa came to work at Lowe's and they could work together again. Asa was a kind and caring man. He will be greatly missed! You are all in our prayers!
