

Audrey Haas, 94, of Fountain Hills, AZ passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026. Audrey was born March 7, 1932, in Holdrege, NE to Fred and Katherine Reiss. She grew up on her parents' farm in Wilcox, NE. She was the second to the youngest of five children, and graduated from Wilcox High School in 1949. After high school she moved to Lincoln, NE. It was there that she met her husband, Rollie Haas, who preceded her in death in 2012. They were married in 1952, and shared 60 years of marriage. Together they raised four children, LeAnn, Nancy, Lori, and Tracy.
Audrey dedicated her life to being the heart and soul of her home. As a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she created a warm, welcoming space that often became a favorite gathering place for family and friends. She was known for her expert cooking and her passion for bridge, bowling, puzzles, interior design, and fashion. Her hands were rarely still fostering a home filled with love and laughter. Admired for her sense of fashion, and being the life of the party, Audrey was infectious to everyone she met.
Audrey is survived by her daughters, LeAnn (Ralph) of Phoenix, AZ, Nancy of Scottsdale, AZ, Lori (Brad) of Scottsdale, AZ, and Tracy (Tom) of Fountain Hills, AZ, seven grandchildren, Kyle, Joel, Julian, Haley, Conor, Regan, and Betsy, four great-grandchildren, Kory, Ellie, Avery, and Eli, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 25th in Lincoln, NE.
