Barbara Mae Ehrlich was born on March 6, 1943, and entered into her eternal resting place on August 28, 2024. She was born to her parents Emma Katherine Oellerich and Gyle Warren Taylor in Pawnee City.
She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, son Randall (Randy), and her parents Emma Delehoy and Gyle Taylor. Barbara was born in Pawnee City and attended Lincoln High School and enjoyed being a drum majorette. She had a love for connecting with people and after completing high school she worked at Golds and took business courses. As they expanded their family, Barb became an Avon Lady. Once she completed her Avon career she decided to sell real estate in Lincoln area until retirement.
Barbara loved life and her favorite place was to vacation in Vegas with her daughter and her husband. She traveled to see her grandchildren and watch the many sports they participated in. Barbara was still active in her circle of high school friends enjoying outings and luncheons and the pure friendship she had from her younger years.
She is survived by her daughter Kimberly (Michael) Zillig, LaVista, NE. Grandchildren Alex (Brianna) Zillig, Papillion, NE; Julia Allison (Chris) Grimm, Chelsea Ehrlich, Seguin TX; Travis Ehrlich, Lincoln; her sister Joyce Holes of Fairbury. She was a proud grandmother of Alex, Julia, Chelsea, Travis and her great grandchildren Taylor, Kirra, Cooper, Skyliegh, Raegyn and Gracie. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, along with many great nieces and nephews.
Visitation 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 So. 14th St. and Funeral Services 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Immanuel Lutheran Church 2001 So. 11th. Interment Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
