

Bonnie Marlene Ingram, 69, of Lincoln, NE died peacefully Friday, June 12, 2015 after years bravely battling cancer. Born in Colon, NE on January 12, 1946 to Rose Marie Steinbach of Prague, NE and Louis Slama of Brainard, NE.
Bonnie graduated from Wahoo High School in 1964. She worked at the Lincoln State Capital prior to her marriage to Bill J Ingram October 1, 1970. She volunteered at the St. Teresa’s Church Thrift Store and Women’s Auxiliary and worked at St. Teresa’s School for 12 years. She enjoyed sewing, walking, bird watching, and cooking for her family. She will be remembered for her warm laugh and gentle spirit.
Immediate family survivors are; husband Bill J Ingram; daughters Pamela Golka (Elkhorn, NE) and Karen Zimmerman (Omaha, NE); grandchildren Kaitlyn, Ayden, and Bryce Golka and Abigail and Elijah Zimmerman; sister Nancy Michels; and brothers Maynard, Larry, Gordon, Garwood, and Howard Slama.
Catholic chapel service Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a graveside service and reception at Lincoln Memorial, 6800 S. 14th St. Lincoln, NE. Visitation at Lincoln Memorial 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2015 with Rosary at 5:30 p.m. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, in Bonnie’s name requested to St. Teresa’s Catholic School in Lincoln, NE or a charity of your choice.
