

Brenda Jean (Davis) Wright was born on April 15, 1946 to Charles and Ethel Davis in San Antonio, TX. Her family moved to Alexandria, NE shortly after she was born, where she lived until she was in kindergarten. They then moved to Lincoln where she resided the rest of her earthly life.
Brenda was confirmed in the Christian faith in 1956, the beginning of her lifelong devotion to Jesus her Savior. She graduated from Lincoln Northeast high school in 1964, then met the love of her life shortly after. Brenda was joined in marriage to George Wright on June 5th, 1965 at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Lincoln, NE. God blessed them with two sons, Darren (52) and Jason (48).
Brenda was an active member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, and especially enjoyed the Sisterhood of Faith group in the most recent years. She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed attending her sons’ sporting events and vacationing with the family across 47 different states. Brenda was also a dedicated employee at Ameritas for 22 years.
Brenda departed this earthly life to be with her Heavenly Father on October 17, 2021 at the age of 75. She is survived by her husband, George, son Darren and his wife Sue of Brainard, NE, son Jason and his wife Kendra of Olathe, KS, grandsons Tim (great-grandsons, Theodore and Noah), Tyler, and Jordan, and granddaughters Taylor and Jenna. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ethel Davis.
Visitation will be held at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20. Funeral services for Brenda will be held at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 21.
