Carson J (Kit) Smith 69 of Denton passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 1, 2016. Kit attended Lincoln High School and Wesleyan University. After graduating from college in 1969, he was employed by Nebco Inc for 43 years until his retirement. Kit is survived by his wife of 46 years Marjory Smith; mother, Joy Smith; son, Brian; sister, Sue Poulin Smith; brother-in-law, Norman Poulin; brothers, David Smith, Dennis Smith; sister-in-law, Kelli Stanley Smith and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father Gail N Smith. Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Monday Nov. 7 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. 6800 South 14th St, Lincoln, Nebraska. Funeral Service: 12:30 pm on Tuesday Nov. 8 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home followed by graveside service to be held at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
