Lincoln. Born to Charles Sr and Anne Belle Boyer, Charles grew up on the farm and spent the better part of his life there as a 4th generation farmer. Charles loved his independence as a farmer, and he loved his family, his dogs, and the animals that he tended to. Charles is survived by children: Denny (Maureen) Boyer, Garry (Michelle) Boyer, Dianne (Jeff) Frazier; grandchildren: Brandon (Shannon) Boyer, and Jennifer (Brandon) Petty; great grandchildren: Kimber Boyer and Olivia Petty; step-grandchildren Rebecca (Scott) Haggart, Jamie (Heather) Stender, Naomi (Matt) Chollar; step-great grandchildren: Miranda, Madison, Toby, Collin and Macrae; nephew Don Bingham; many more family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Verna (née Thelander); sister Ruth Bingham; and step-grandson Shane Stender. Viewing is 5pm-7pm Thursday February 8th at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home - 6800 S 14th St. Service will be 3pm Friday February 9th at Southpointe Christian Church - 7010 Helen Witt Dr. With reception to follow interment at Lincoln Memorial Park.
