

Charles W. Rohe, age 74 of Lincoln died Friday, April 17, 2015. Born in Lincoln to Henry and Anna Jane (Bradley) Rohe. United States Air Force Veteran, member of the VFW Post #769 Quartzsite, AZ; Pleasant Dale American Legion, Elks Lodge #1929 Parker, AZ; Charlie enjoyed restoring old tractors, classic cars and riding his Harley Classic trike. He was never one to sit still; he was always working on one project or another. He retired as a conductor for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. Charlie will be remembered by all, as a jack of all trades. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Kevin. Survivors include his wife Phyliss; children and spouses Teresa and Robert Kern, Jerry W. Bloom, Terri and Terry Gossard, Frances and David Hutson; thirteen grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; sibling and their spouses William Rohe, Annabelle and Victor Kovar, Douglas and Mary Rohe, Judy and William Kapke; nieces and nephews. Funeral service 12:30pm Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 S. 14th St. Lincoln, NE, casual attire requested. Visitation Tuesday from 4-8pm with family receiving friends from 6-8pm. Memorials to the City of Hope Cancer Research or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
