Christine "Chris" Marie Lyman

Christine "Chris" M Lyman, age 67, of Lincoln, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. Chris was born October 5, 1955 to Glenn and Mary Lyman. Chris graduated from "Lincoln Northeast" high school in 1973. She worked at Notifier, Transcript and Joann's Fabric and had recently retired. She loved spending time with her family and her beloved pets. Chris liked gardening and playing online video games. Chris was an Artist in her spare time as well.

She is survived by her loving wife, Sharon Maricle of Lincoln, Nebraska; sister Linda (Lyman) Svoboda and husband, Mark of Loveland, Colorado; sister-in-law, Beverly (Burke) Lyman of Raleigh North Carolina; brother Larry Lyman and wife, Lorraine of Lincoln, Nebraska, Greg Lyman and wife Jen of Lincoln, Nebraska and 16 nieces & nephews, 20 great nieces & nephews and two great, great nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Evelyn Moore Birkmann and her husband Alvin Birkmann; Father Glenn K. Lyman, Brother David Lyman; Sister, Peggy (Lyman) Jasinski-Allgood and her husband Robert "Bob" Allgood.

A memorial celebration of life for Chris will be 10:00 am Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S 14th St., Lincoln, NE 68512.
