Connie Ellen Racicky

Connie graduated from Lincoln High School in 1961. Connie dedicated her life to taking care of children at her in-home daycare. Connie's daycare children became cherished family to her. She loved the musician, T.G. Sheppard; was the president of his fan club. She also enjoyed collecting anything related to dachshunds, ranging from stuffed animals to pictures to planters.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Louis (Tony) Racicky; children, David Racicky of Austin, Texas, Gary (Diane) Racicky of Lincoln, Terry Racicky of Lincoln; grandchildren, Victoria (Chris) Hansen, Tabytha (Jake) Mustard, Tyler Racicky; great-grandchildren, Aubree, Liam, Adyliene, Declan, and Finnegan Hansen, and Aaron, Starley, Roni-Ann Mustard; brother, Michael (Ginger) Shurter of Lincoln; sister, Jeani Crounse of Lincoln; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Bonnie Monie of Doniphan, Nebraska; her aunt Helen of Lincoln; and great-grandchild, Tatum Kennicker.

It was requested by Connie that we not have a service. Instead, the family would like to encourage a donation in her name to the Dachshund Rescue in Beaver Crossing, Nebraska for necessary supplies. Payments can be made to Gary Racicky, who will properly distribute your gracious donations.
