Survived by children; Cathy (Bill) Culver of Lincoln, Margaret (Paul) Gleckler of Ohio, Kevin (Patsy) Smetter of Oklahoma, Robert (Amy) Hinton of Lincoln, Audrey (Ray) DeMers of Iowa, Kenlyn Smetter of Lincoln, Walter (Amy) Smetter of Lincoln; sister, Merle Hoover of Iowa, 27 Grandchildren, 39 Great Grandchildren & one Great Great Granddaughter. Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 38 years Kenneth W.; infant daughter Vita Lou Hinton; brothers Con Sykes & Carl Sykes; sister Lois Viehdorfer; niece Janet Smetter; nephew Dennis Sykes & granddaughter Emily Ann Johns.
A visitation for Cynthia will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68512. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or any Veterans organizations.
