Darlene Rose Barnhill

Darlene Rose Barnhill, 85, of Lincoln, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 at her home with her family by her side. Daughter of Nellie (Combs) and Everett Scott. She married J. Leonard Barnhill on June 8, 1951. She kept the books for the family owned Barnhill Ice Company for over 40 years. Darlene’s favorite thing to do was “TO BE WITH FAMILY”. Darlene had 4 children, Peggy (Bill) Carson, Janet (John) Sharp, J. Scott (Shari) Barnhill all of Lincoln and Debra Barnhill of Nebraska City, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She has 1 brother Lynn Scott of California. Preceded in death by parents, brother Duane Scott and sister Betty Gage.

Visitation: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on June 26 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th Street. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. on June 27 at Havelock Methodist Church, 4140 N. 60th Street. Memorials may be given to : Tabitha Hospice Program or Havelock Methodist Church. Condolences:lincolnfh.com.
