Dean Bundy

Dean A. Bundy (known to many as Dean-O), a devoted father, father-in-law, and one proud papa passed away On October 23rd,2025 at the age of 61. He was the beloved "daddy-o" of his only daughter Terri Hefner, he dedicated his life to her, her husband Slade Hefner, his 2 grandsons, Anthony and Zander Hefner, 1 granddaughter, Katherine Stephens (Alex) who brought him endless pride and joy.

Dean was born in Lincoln, NE on August 18th, 1964. He grew up alongside his 2 sisters Donna Bundy and Lee Krizek (Neal), with whom he shared a lifetime of memories, laughter and support. Dean worked for Smithfield Foods formerly known as Cooks from the early 90's till the early 2020s, he then went to Emerald Nursing & Rehab where he spent a couple years as a dietary aide, The last couple of years he spent his time to be a foster grandparent for Beatrice Public schools.

Dean was happiest with a fishing pole in his hand enjoying the calm and peaceful water, along with the company of his friends and family. His friendships meant the world to him, and he collected an extended family through the many people whose lives he touched along the way.

Those who knew Dean will remember his loyalty, humor, and the pure love he carried for everyone he knew, they will also remember his love for animals, especially his beloved Shasta, his T-Bud Teddy, and his oh so loyal Raven.

Dean will forever be missed by his family, his friends and all who were lucky enough to know him. His memory will continue to live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered and the love he leaves behind.

Survived by Terri (Slade) Hefner, 3 grandchildren, 2 sisters, nephew Tanner (Roxann) Krizek, niece Riley (Ben) Benson and their children.

Preceded in death by parents Donald and Glendora Campbell (Bundy) along with many other loved ones and friends.

Celebration of life will be at a later date.
