Dirk Allen Allgood

Dirk was a proud graduate of Lincoln Southeast High School, where he stood out as a talented wrestler and a devoted Knight.

A lifelong Husker fan, Dirk took pride in cheering on his team. He had a deep love for music and was an accomplished guitar player. He also loved being outdoors, especially spending time at the lake boating and soaking up the sun.

Dirk was preceded in death by his parents, Marcella and Richard, and his brothers, Terry Allgood and Rick Allgood. He is survived by his younger sister, Kristine (Allgood) Childers, many nieces and nephews, and friends who will remember him for his humor, mischief, and easygoing nature.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services from 9:00 am to 10 am, with a service at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 South 14th Street. A graveside service and lunch will follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Dirk by sharing a favorite memory or enjoying a day on the lake or a Husker game in his name.
