Dominic Dionysus Booker

Dominic was born January 20, 2002, in Lincoln to Karen Fangmeyer and Darren Booker. He is the brother of Darrius Booker and Kayla Jordan. He is the best friend to Dominic Brazda and Logan Carder. He was baptized in Christ on November 2, 2002, at Evangelical United Lutheran Church in Lincoln, NE. He grew up playing YMCA and Small Fry basketball. He took great joy in riding his Kawasaki motorcycle and lifting weights. His favorite childhood moments from the age of 5 were riding his bicycle and jumping fences to play with his best friend Dominic Brazda. His bestest friend and brother in life forever, Darrius, was his biggest hero. They played legos, hot wheels and then evolved into video games and watching UFC. The strength of their brotherly love and being their brother’s keeper is their greatest bond. He also loved his sister, Kayla, who he looked up to and would spend hours talking about life and navigating the world.

Dominic, known as Donicky, loved the time he spent playing Frisbee Golf with his dad and was determined he was going to win each time.

Dominic was truly a Momma’s Boy and his whole heart belonged to her. Their bond is as strong as any mother and son’s could be. She is his strongest defender and he is hers. If there is any place in this world he would remain it would be with his head in her lap saying “I love you mom.”

Dominic was a passionate learner and researcher. He had a spirit for justice and had empathy and passion to defend those who were wronged by society. We know he was destined for great things. He may not have accomplished them here on earth, but we know it will be accomplished in his eternity.

He is survived by his parents, Karen Fangmeyer and Darren Booker; his brother and sister, Darrius Booker and Kayla Jordan; his grandparents Dale and Jeanette Fangmeyer of Lincoln, Warren Stanton of Crowder, Mississippi, and the late Bettye Mae Stanton; along with his best friends Dominic Brazda and Logan Carder. Also survived by brother ZeDarrius Coleman of Atlanta, Georgia, sisters Tamara Coleman of Crowder, Mississippi, Lexus Durham of Lincoln, and Darian Berry of Avondale, Arizona.
