Don Dolezal

Don Dolezal was born October 26, 1940 to Vladimir and Antonia Dolezal in David City, Nebraska

Don lived on his parent’s family farm in Bruno, Nebraska, until age eight when his father passed away. From the age of nine through fourteen Don lived in the town of Bruno with his Mom and siblings: Dennis & Shirley. Don then moved with his family to the Havelock neighborhood, where he attended Junior High at St. Patrick Catholic School. Don attended Pius X High School and graduated in 1959.

Don met Joann Ostransky in May, 1962 and they became engaged in August, 1962. Don and Joann united in marriage on February 2, 1963 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Don and Joann became parents to three daughters: May 8, 1965 ~ Angela Rose; January 9, 1968 ~ Andrea Sue; August 24, 1970 ~ Amanda Kay. Don walked each of his daughters down the aisle on their wedding day’s and loved their husbands, Jim, John and Mark, as sons.

Don was blessed with six grandchildren: Michaela, Jillian, Eric, Isaac, Rachel and Adam.

Don and Joann celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on February 2, 2015.
