Donna Mosher, 83, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away May 27, 2026. Born September 20, 1942, in Quitaque, Texas, Donna was the daughter of William and Mildred (Keeter) Reagan. She was raised in Lockney, Texas with her identical twin sister and older brother. The twins would often play tricks on friends, neighbors, and even their parents, who could not tell them apart.
After graduating high school, Donna and her sister enlisted in the United States Air Force and served for four years. She started out in Amarillo, Texas and was later stationed at Offutt Air Force Base where she met her husband, Kenneth. They were married in 1963 and spent 3 years stationed in Japan, where Donna enjoyed flower arranging and bowling. Donna received an honorable discharge in 1965 while Kenneth continued his military service. Their daughter, Sharon, was born in 1969. Shortly afterward, Kenneth was stationed in England, where the entire family spent two years. They returned to Offutt and Kenneth was discharged in 1972, after which the family moved to Lincoln.
Once Sharon started school, Donna worked for many years as a para-educator at Merle Beattie Elementary, enjoying the later years in the media center. She also faithfully attended Sharon’s school events. She loved to bowl and was in a regular bowling club for many years. Donna also loved to read. She studied her Bible, and read other faith-based books. In recent years, she also enjoyed mystery television shows and courtroom dramas, old and new.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Mosher, and her parents, William and Mildred (Keeter) Reagan. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Jon Zeleny; her granddaughters, Julia and Lilian Zeleny; her brother and sister-in-law, Billy Dean and Nancy Reagan; her sister, Sandra Demarest; and nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services for Donna will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, with burial to follow at Lincoln Memorial Park and Cemetery. The family requests memorials to the family for future designation.
