Doris, 85, passed away Monday May 6, 2019, at home. Doris was born at home to Katherine (Reifschneider) Ostwald and Henry Ostwald at 707 New Hampshire better known as the German Bottoms. She attended Whittier Junior High School and graduated from Teachers College High School. She married Donald E Taylor June 22, 1957, they started married life in Phoenix AZ, moved to Boulder Colorado, returning home to Lincoln NE 1967. Doris retired from University of Nebraska Foundation in 1993 after 25 years of service. She was a member of WSI, (Welfare Society Inc.)
Doris was the mother of Randy Taylor (Sharon) Lincoln NE and Kristin Taylor Lincoln NE and grandmother of Mads Kasparek (Olivia) Lincoln NE. Preceded in death by father (Henry Ostwald 1976), mother Katherine (Reifschneider) Ostwald 1999, Sister( Ruth Stubbs 2013) brother (Roger Ostwald 2019).
Services: Thursday, May 9, 2019 Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S 14th Lincoln NE. Visitation at 9am, service at 10 am followed by a reception.
