Dorothy J. Bean, 89 years of age, of Peoria Illinois, peacefully passed away February 15, 2024 and is resting in Gods care. She is survived by her family: Peg and John Mlotek, Carol and Bruce Petosky, Richard and Marti Bean. Grandchildren: Ted Mlotek and Chasity, Brandi (Mlotek) and Tim Teel, Chris Mlotek and Jordan, Ryan and Janice Petosky, Casey and Teressa Petosky
Great Grandchildren: Austin Teel and Maddie, Payton (Teel) and Jake Northrup, Zakery Mlotek, Olivia Mlotek, Adam Petosky, Skyler Petosky, Danielle Petosky and Amber Petosky. Great Great Grandchild: Connor Northrup.
She is survived by two sisters: Marjorie Hiskey and Betty McKay and many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Don Bean, her Parents: Daisy and Leroy Love, Brothers: Jim Love, Robert Love, Ken Love, Don Love. Sisters: Joyce (Love) Anderson and Patricia (Love) Bell Grandchildren: William Kenneth and Justin James
Dorothy loved to spend time among her beautiful flowers and had a green thumb for gardening. She loved to see the beauty in all of God's creation.
Most of all she loved her family. She is loved in return.
A funeral service will be held Thursday February 29th, 2024 at 2:00PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th St., Lincoln, NE 68512. A visitation will begin at 1:00PM prior to the service.
