Born 6/30/1938 in Lincoln, Ne to Harry Long and Marie Goeschel Long. Worked at Merles Food & Drink in Emerald, Ne for 27 years. Retired from TAG in 2007. Was a secretary to the Bowling Leagues in Emerald, Ne , as well as the secretary for the Malcolm Fire Board for many years. Dotty and Marvin were very active in the Shrine and loved all activities and friends they made over the many years they were involved.
Dotty was an avid Husker Fan, she would not miss a game for the world and always made sure to have either Husker Jewelry on or a Husker shirt to represent them, no matter if it was football, volleyball, baseball she was not about to miss a game.
Known for her beautiful handwriting. Always thought of others by sending cards or letters to brighten their day.
Survived by Vicki (Jerry) Frye, Terri Crewdson, Tammi (John) Wendelin, 4 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in Death by Husband Marvin Crewdson, Beloved Son Dan Crewdson, Parents Harry & Marie Long, Brother Jim Long.

A visitation for Dorothy will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68512. A funeral service will occur Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 2:30 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.
