Edward King, 88 of Lincoln died October 22, 2014. Edward Charles King was born August 27, 1926 to Guy and Edna (Wille) King at Delta, CO. Edward was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was an employee of the Nebraska Department of Roads for over 30 years. He was a member of Calvary New Visions Community Church. Edward is survived by his wife, Julia M. King; daughter, Cindy (Tom) Karel; grandchildren, Jenna (Nathan) Fuller; Lisa Karel; Barbara Karel and Joshua (fiancé Morgan Cullison) Karel; great-grandchildren, David and Ava Fuller; sister in law, Doris J. King; brother and sister in law, Maurice and Eva King; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John, Merion, Robert and William King; sisters, Elizabeth King and Virginia Alsman. A Celebration of Edward’s Life will be 11:00 AM Monday October 27, 2014 at Calvary New Visions Community Church (1610 S. 11th Street). Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the King family for future designation.
