Elvira "Tootie" Clarice Witt

Elvira "Tootie" Clarice Witt, age 79 passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021. "Tootie" was born August 28, 1941 in Unadilla, Nebraska to David and H. Nellie (Wallen) Reed. She attended Clinton Elementary, Whittier Jr. High and University High. She married Stephen LeRoy Witt on October 4, 1958. She worked as the elevator operator at Gold's department store in 1959, was as a stay-at-home Mom and then worked in the cafeteria at Culler Jr. High, followed by employment at ISCO. They moved to Southern California in 1988 and lived there until 1992, returned to Lincoln and worked as an IRA specialist at Tier One Bank.

Preceded in death by her parents, sister Evelyn Brockman, brothers Dwayne Reed, Arlo Reed and Roland Reed, nephew Thomas Reed, granddaughter Corinne Rutledge.

Survived by her husband Steve, children Rhonda (Larry) Ohlheiser, Maui, Hi, Russell Witt, Naples, FL, Geraldine (Jim) Rutledge, Waco, NE. Grandchildren Christina Witt, Ft Walton Beach, FL, Marshal Rutledge, Lincoln, Dustin (Rachel) Rutledge, Lincoln. Great-grandchildren Claire & Cassie Rutledge, Lincoln, sister-in-law Joanne Reed, Lincoln, many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Second Baptist Church, 525 North 58th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska. Covid Safe, visitation with family following service lincolnfh.com
