Ervin Paul Harr, 85, passed away April 17 at Country House Residence in Lincoln. Ervin was born in Ainsworth to Lilford & Gertrude Harr on December 30, 1932. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He spent 41 years with Nebraska Dept. of Transportation, retiring in 1997. Ervin was known as an avid golfer and passionate ice cream eater.
Ervin is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Joy; children, Debra (Randy Root) of Omaha, David (Kristen) of Carlsbad, Calif., and Wesley of Lincoln. He is also survived by grandsons Evan & Ian Root of Omaha and Nolan and Benjamin Harr of Carlsbad, Calif, also survived by brother Charles of Centennial, Colo., and many nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by parents and brother Allen.
