Hi my name is Angie, and I stumbled upon this memorial and the passing of Gene.  He  was a big part of my life and my families from the time I was in 1rst grade through the 8th grade until we moved to Texas on Dec. 1975.  The last time we spent time together was in 1988 when he came to Houston for a visit. I (we) have fond memories of our time spent in Lincoln with Gene. He was loved by our family.  I know this is late, but please accept our condolences.  If this isn't too bold of a request, I lost a lot of my pictures from my youth in one of our crazy hurricanes and if you still have pics of me and my family during our time with Gene. I would welcome them. Again so sorry for your loss. Angie
