Evelyn V. Parks, 93, of Lincoln, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015. She was born to Henry and Edith (Barrington) Nelson, on May 1, 1922. Evelyn was born on a farm near Niobrara, NE in a Sod House on one of the last Homestead claims issued in Nebraska. Survivors: Daughters: Sharon Dillinger, Marian (Howard) Marchand, Neoma Parks. Son: Stan (Marsha) Parks. 6 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by: Husband of 60 years, Van; parents; 2 brothers and 4 sisters; Son-in-law, Larry Dillinger.
