One of my fondest childhood memories of you was how proud I was that my grandpa looked like Santa Claus. For a child that is a wonderful thing.

All the memories I have of you are happy ones. I remember going fishing or being by a lake or pond as a child with the family....I believe this specific memory there was a boat and you already had the two Brittany spaniels (Sassy & Lady-the daughters of my beloved Brittany Spaniel Rusty). I remember how you would call them woofers instead of pups (if I remember correctly!) I don’t remember going on the boat in that memory but I do have this image in my head.

Then as an adult I remember a few years back taking my son AJ on a boat ride with you on the lake in Missouri. I also remember you playing some toy game at the trailer in Missouri with AJ & Chloe. ..running around and having a blast together.

Grandpa I will forever hold you in my heart and cherish these little every day moments I was able to spend with you. This isn’t goodbye but see you later....

Love forever,

Betty Sue, and family please accept my and my families sincere condolences. You know how much Darcie and I cared for Fred and you. As I've told you anything I can do for you and the kids just ask and I'll be more than happy to help. Fred was a vary vary good and friend, like I said he was like a father to me and I truly loved him and I feel the same for you. Fred was a gentle understanding sole who will be missed by all who knew him. I know words can't replace him but hopefully this will help you understand how I feel about him and you. As you know I don't always show my emotions too well but please remember you and your family will always be in my prayers and on my mind. Once again I'm sure Fred and Darcie are both waiting for you and me in a much better place and I'll always be there for you and the family if it's possible. Thank you and your family for being such great friends. Yours sincerely Harold
