Francis was born January 28, 1942 to Fay and Henrietta Rice. Francis is survived by his son Steve Rice; daughter, Pamela Ponder; sister, Esther Wessels; Lila Kerns; grandchildren, Christopher Ponder, Rose Ponder; Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A visitation for Francis will be held Monday, January 29, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S 14th St., Lincoln, NE 68512. Following the visitation there will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Park and Cemetery, 6700 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68512.
