Gary Lynn Hansen

Gary Lynn Hansen, 66 of Lincoln, Nebraska died on Thursday, May 19, 2016. He was born on October 16, 1949 in Hastings, Nebraska to Gerald and Helen M. (Petr) Hansen. He worked for Ready Mixed Concrete as a driver and dispatcher. Concrete Industries as credit manager, then moved on to Western Sand and Gravel as manager. He enjoyed auto sports, both dirt track and NASCAR. He enjoyed working on cars and golfing. Gary is survived by his daughter, Lynnsey and granddaughter Adley; former spouse, Daryln; stepdaughters, Tiffanni (Jeff) Jorgensen; Allissa (Pete) Steiner; grandchildren, Kaylynn Knuth; Drew, Alexis, Trenton, Lacey and Aaden Jorgensen, Haley, Nolan and Evan Steiner; brothers and sisters, Ron (Carol) Hansen of Lincoln; Jeanette (John) Ketola of Michigan; Debbie Judy and Mike of Florida; Roger Hansen of Bellevue; Duane (Sandy) Hansen of Bellevue; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew, Cameron Hansen, granddaughter, Lauren Jorgensen, aunts, and uncles. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a 7:00 pm rosary service at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, May 23, 2016 at 10:30 am at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 7601 Vine Street. Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Catholic Social Services.
