Gary L Staiert

Gary Lee Staiert, 75, of Bennet, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving wife and children. Gary was a warrior who fought his battle until the very end with courage and strength.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Antonette Staiert; his sister, Janice Staiert; and his mother-in-law, Henrietta Schinkel.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Tammy Staiert, and his children, Joshua Bell, Sarah Buechler (James), Tara Staiert, Katie Kozeny (Jon), and Shena Wasco (Jeremy).

Gary is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, Jacob, Justin, Kaylee, Ryleigh, Ethan, Zach, Jackson, Henry, Taya, Charlotte, Adalyn, and Wyatt. His grandchildren adored him and brought him tremendous joy.

Gary will be remembered for his strength, his love for his family, and the lasting impact he made on those around him. His family and loved ones will carry his memory in their hearts forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 17th, 2026, at 11:00am at the Bennet Community Church with a luncheon to follow.
