We are so sorry for the loss of Gary. I went through elementary and high school with Gary and have known him for many years. In high school he would hang out with us and other friends from Eagle, all of us trying to stay out of trouble (which didn't always happen). I can't forget his Trans Am and every time I see one I think of him. What great memories! We would run into Gary from time to time and he'd always stop and visit with us with a big smile on his face, so happy to see some of his old friends. He will greatly missed by many people, he left behind many friends.

Used to work across the isle from Gary. Late one evening when he wasn't looking I put fifty pounds of steel in his lunch box. About broke his arm when started running for the time clock. Good friend.

Stacey - So sorry to hear of your family's loss. We will always remember your dad as smiling and cheering as you and the rest of the "star strutters" did your thing at LNE. He was always so proud of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Stacey and I were super close in middle school and high school. I stayed over at Gary’s house almost every weekend for a while. Gary always called me his couch potato bc I slept there often. Gary would always ask me, “how is it going couch potato?” I loved that he always took an interest in how I was and for letting me stay all the time! He really was a great guy! My heart breaks for his family. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers 🙏🏼

I met Gary through high school bowling. I bowled with his daughter Stacy. He coached us our senior year when we brought the championship home.

He will be greatly missed.

I have known Gary since I was 9 years old. He was one of my mom's best friends. There was an instant bond between us and it only grew as the years when on.
In that, nearly 20 year time frame he was one of the best people I had ever had the pleasure of knowing. Like a second dad to me.
There are so many memories that we built together, trips that we took for my birthdays, he even became quite involved in both of my girls' lives.
My oldest loved him as much as I do, we had so many plans for the future.
He was a great man, the best man ever! If there ever was a perfect person on this world, it was Gary.
He always looked out for me, and helped me and my family when he could. And I can't even begin to describe the pain in my heart by his absence on Earth.
I love you, Gary.

We knew Gary from working with him at Parker. He purchased our horse, and took extremely good care of her. He was there when we needed help moving to our new home 9 years ago. Gary always had a smile and spoke of his children fondly.

Sending our condolences to those who are grieving the loss of Gary.

I met Gary while we were both cruising up and down O street, he was my first serious boyfriend. What I remember the most about Gary was his gentle soul and that he always wanted to do right by his friends and family. I remember he loved cats and his Trans Am. You know the one, blue with the Firebird on the hood, he babied that car.
I seen Gary a couple times through the years but we had lost touch. I thought of him often because he was such a happy memory. He will always have a special place in my heart.
Rest in Peace Gary and may the Lord wrap your family in his loving arms during this painful time.

Gary has been a close friend since we moved to the Eagle area in 1978. We spent many hours hanging out. He always teased me about being the old one. He took on the Godfather role to my daughter, Becca, after my brother Bud passed. He has always been a great friend with a kind heart and a giving soul. Many prayers to his Children & grandson, his Mom and family. For healing during this time of sorrow. Gary is loved by many and will be greatly missed...

Rest in Peace my dear Friend

I always remember friends by their smiles, and Gary was quick to offer his! One summer when Larry and I had our acreage near Akron, Gary brought his ATV up, and joined us as we went riding in the sandhills. The quiet beauty of the pastures impressed him, and it brings me peace this sad time.

"He makes my lay down in green pastures, He restores my soul..." My your memories be sweet, and dwell on the promise of Gary's renewed spirit with God.

Holding you all in my heart,
Janette
