Georgia May Arroyo

Georgia May Arroyo, age 77, of Lincoln, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. Georgia was born June 24, 1944. Georgia is survived by husband Carlos, sons Timothy, Jonathan, Michael and daughter Nancy. Grandchildren Timothy John, Zachary, Joe, Andrea, Abbi, Paige, Sidnee and Jeffery.

Brothers Jim and Kenny and sister Shirley.

Georgia was born June 24, 1944 in Schubert, Nebraska to Julius and Dessi Bade. They moved to Lincoln where she grew up and lived. After graduating from Lincoln High she married Carlos Arroyo on December 30 1963 and started her family. While managing married life and rising 4 kids, Georgia went to nursing school and got her LPN license. Throughout her nursing carrier she work at nursing homes and Dr. Offices as well as being Dr. Mom to her family and her neighbors. After retiring from the medical field, Georgia and Carlos filled their time with craft shows around the Midwest. Georgia enjoyed camping, traveling, but most of all spending time with her family.

We will be gathering to remember Georgia on December 19, 2021 at Capital View Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1640 A Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, 68502 at 2pm.
