Gerald "Gary" Ray Hollers

Born on June 9, 1946 to Claude A and Maureen M Hollers. He was joined several years later by his brother Stephen L. Hollers.

The family followed his father as he traveled the country in the Army and returned to Lincoln, NE in 1960. Gary enlisted in the Air Force in March 1965 and married Vicki Hergenrader on August 15,1965 in Lincoln, NE and began his 16 years of military career together from North Dakota to Guam to Michigan and Guam again and back to Michigan. Two children were born to this union Tami Renee and Todd Christopher.

Gary left the military in 1980 when God called him to the ministry. He graduated from Nebraska Christian College in 1985 and happily served churches in Columbus, NE; Rockwell City, IA; Tabor, IA; Storm Lake, IA and finally in Council Bluffs, IA retiring in 2014 when they moved to Lincoln, NE to be closer to his mother. Gary is a Life Member of the VFW.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents Claude and Maureen Hollers; brother Stephen Hollers.

He is survived by his wife Vicki Hollers, 56 years of marriage, Lincoln, NE; children: Tami Robak of Lincoln, NE and Todd (Shawn) Hollers of Newman Grove, NE. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Lincoln City Church, 5001 South 1st, Lincoln, Nebraska 68512. lincolnfh.com
