She worked for the University of Nebraska Lincoln for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Stephan Schilke; daughters, Stephani and (Tyke) Hoos, Jana and (Chad) Hoos; grandchildren, Tyza, Tyztin, Tyka, Jaycelyn, Behrenger, Mackson, and Wylder.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Ralph Kilburn; brothers-in-law, Charles "Buddy" Pierce and Wayne Anderson.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at the North American Martyrs Catholic Church, 1101 Isaac Drive, Lincoln, Nebraska, on Friday, April 24, 2026, with visitation beginning at 9:30 am, followed by a Rosary at 10:00 am and Mass at 10:30 am. Interment Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery 6700 South 14th Street Lincoln, Nebraska.
