Harold J. Rauscher, 94, of Lincoln, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2015. He was born on November 27, 1920 in Sutton, NE to Gustav and Sarah (Ochsner) Rauscher. WWII Navy Veteran, served in the D-Day and Southern France Invasions. Served on USS Rapidan and USS Chickadee. Banker with National Bank of Commerce for 38 years. Also, Union Insurance Hail Adjustment and Reams Sprinkler Supply. Survivors: Sons; Dr. Bruce (Ann) Rauscher, of Lincoln and Dr. Jon (Cathy) Rauscher, of Dallas, TX. Grandchildren; John Rauscher, Kristin Viall, Matthew Rauscher, Evan Gilmore and Elena Rauscher. Great-Grandchildren; Maggie and Sam Rauscher, Livia and Brooklyn Viall. Preceded in death by: Wife; Melva, parents, 3 Sisters; Gertrude (Ray) Heath, Viola (Reuben) Griess and Leola Rauscher. Memorials: Wounded Warrior Project.
